What we hold, and why.
The short version: an email, a hashed password, your age, your subscription, and what you have asked Kenza. No card details, no advertising profiles, no selling anything to anybody.
Who we are
Kenza is operated by Valker Enterprise, Birmingham Road, CV37 0BE. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. For anything on this page, write to hello@kenza.tips.
What we collect
Your email address and a one-way hash of your password — we never store the password itself. Your date of birth, because we are legally required to check you are 18 or over. What you ask Kenza and what it answers, so a conversation makes sense from one message to the next. A record of your subscription and the questions you have used. Basic technical information your browser sends, such as your IP address, used to rate-limit sign-in attempts and to spot abuse.
What we do not collect
We never see or store your card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe, who take the card data directly. We do not buy personal data, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not track you across other websites.
Why we are allowed to hold it
To provide the service you have asked for and to take payment for it — that is performance of our contract with you. To check your age and keep records of that check — that is a legal obligation. To keep the service secure and prevent abuse — that is our legitimate interest, balanced against your rights.
Who else sees it
Only the suppliers who make the product work, and only what each one needs. Stripe processes payments and holds your card and billing details. Anthropic processes the questions you send to Ask Kenza in order to generate the answer. Resend sends the evening email. Neon hosts the database and Vercel hosts the site. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever, and none of these suppliers is permitted to use it for their own purposes.
What Ask Kenza means for your data
When you ask Kenza a question, the question, the recent messages in that conversation and the racing data needed to answer are sent to Anthropic's API to produce the reply. Do not put anything in a message you would not want processed that way — it is a racing analyst, not a place for personal or financial details. Conversations are stored against your account so you can pick a thread back up, and you can start a new thread at any time.
Cookies
One cookie, for signing in. It is strictly necessary, holds only a random session token, and is marked HttpOnly and Secure so it cannot be read by scripts. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our traffic measurement is aggregated and does not use cookies or identify you.
How long we keep it
Your account details for as long as you have an account, and for six years after it closes where we are required to keep billing records for tax. Ask Kenza conversations for twelve months. Sign-in and rate-limiting records for thirty days. When a retention period ends the data is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict or stop a particular use, or ask for it in a portable format. Email hello@kenza.tips and we will respond within one month. You can withdraw consent to the evening email at any time from your account page without affecting anything else. If you think we have handled your data badly you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
Where your data is held
The database is hosted in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Some suppliers, including Anthropic, process data outside the UK. Where that happens the transfer is covered by the UK's approved safeguards, such as the International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.
Changes
We will update this page if what we do changes, and change the date at the bottom. If a change is significant we will tell account holders by email rather than expecting anyone to re-read it. Last updated 4 August 2026.
